Several years ago I wrote a book (A Moment in Time) about printing photos on fabric and using these in quilts.

The process is now so much simpler, as manufacturers have produced more and more pre-prepared fabric, ready to print.

The Farmer's Daughters decided to choose their own blocks for their glory box quilts.

The demure daughter chose Four X Star and the other daughter chose The Farmer's Daughter. Guess what?

There once was a farmer who had two lovely daughters. They were as different from each other as chalk and cheese.

One was demure and pretty, the other bright and outspoken. They each decided to make a quilt for her glory box.

Garnet Stitch

Stipple quilting is what makes the beautiful sculpture of your design more prominent. Not meander stitch, that's too hard! Try garnet stitch, it's so much easier — you are allowed to cross!

Playing with new looks for blocks

By making curved triangle squares instead of good old fashioned regular ones, you get fascinating new looks to traditional blocks. Usually triangle squares are made with a straight diagonal seam.

Croppers for play

If you ever use image aditing software on your computer like Photoshop Album or ArcSoft, you will have seen the Crop tool. It looks like two Ls crossing each other.
